Access to the Intermediate-level courses or modules requires compliance with at least one of the following conditions:
- To be in possession of a Compulsory Secondary School certificate or a higher academic level.
- To be in possession of a Basic Professional certificate (Basic Vocational Training).
- To be in possession of a Technician or Auxiliary Technician certificate, or equivalent for academic purposes.
- To have passed the second year of the Unified and Polyvalent Baccalaureate (BUP).
- To have passed the entrance exam for intermediate -level training cycles (it will be required to be at least seventeen years old, having turned seventeen in the year of the exam).
- To have passed the university entrance exam for those over 25 years old.
Either you work in:
- Fitting and maintaining telecommunication infrastructures in buildings, electric machines, automated systems, low voltage electrical installations and home automation systems.
Or you continue studying:
- Professional specialization courses.
- A Higher-level Vocational Training course.
- Another Vocational Training course with the possibility of establishing validations of professional modules in accordance with current regulations.
- Post-compulsory High School Diploma in any of its modalities.
This professional will be able to:
- Configure and calculate installations and equipment.
- Assemble the components of low voltage distribution networks and auxiliary elements.
- Assemble the equipment and wiring system associated with electrical and automated installations and telecommunications infrastructures in buildings.
- Install and maintain rotating and static electrical machines.
- Maintain and repair installations and equipment.
- Establish the logistics associated with assembly and maintenance.
- Prepare budgets, technical documentation and administrative documentation.
- Verify the correct functioning of the installation.
These teachings include the knowledge required to carry out basic level activities in the prevention of occupational risks.
The training established in the set of the course’s professional modules guarantees the level of knowledge required in the Authorized Low Voltage Installer card, both in the basic and in the specialist category.
