Presentation and history
CIFP TARTANGA LHII is a public Vocational Training centre which, due to its long years of existence, has become a reference in this type of studies. It was founded in 1978 in the town of Erandio (Bizkaia) at a time when Vocational Training was spreading as autonomous education throughout the country.
The centre has got 15 VET courses and two specialisation courses in the several professional families: Electricity and Electronics, Administration, IT, Image and Sound, Health, Environment and Social and Community Services. Every year, 790 students receive formal face-to-face training at our centre. It is a conscious student body that seeks quality technical training and is offered internships abroad as well as advice and premises to develop business ideas.
CIFP TARTANGA LHII not only is open to the world of business, but also collaborates with it in innovation and experimentation projects, allocates resources to maintain and increase this relationship, trains a significant number of workers in non-regulated training courses, and cooperates in the recognition of competencies.
